The love of learning that so many children at LEAP Academy express is a reflection of the talent and enthusiasm that the school’s teachers bring to their work.
LEAP Academy faculty are highly qualified and experienced, with more than 38% holding an advanced academic degree. All faculty and staff are encouraged to improve their skills through professional development and are fully supported in their pursuits of graduate degrees.
Our teachers are also strongly committed. Nearly all can be found leading our after school activities like tutoring and homework programs, the school Jazz Band, art and writing competitions, or coaching one of our LEAP Lancers athletic teams to victory.
Because of all the extra help they provide to students and the concern they clearly feel, it’s the rule rather than the exception for students to stay in touch with their teachers long after graduation.
All LEAP faculty are issued and maintain a class web page, where students and parents may visit to find daily homework assignments, classroom news and events, and communicate freely with teachers. Grades Kâ6 | Grades 7â12
