LEAP Libraries

Since its founding, LEAP Academy has stressed the important role that its libraries play in creating a culture of learning within the school.

LEAP’s emphasis on early childhood literacy makes its Elementary School library a vital tool in expanding student reading and vocabulary.  Science books, health and nutrition books, and character-building materials stress the importance of reading and knowledge, and a fiction collection nurtures a love of reading as well.

The High School library, meanwhile, encourages students to build on their knowledge base.  Our teachers assign frequent research projects and students turn to the library’s reference books and computer stations to research their information.  With a large complement of teen-oriented and multicultural literature, the library is also keen to provide relevant fiction and non-fiction for our high school students’ entertainment.
