The spirit and vitality of any school is its students.  LEAP Academy’s spirit comes from some of the brightest and most talented children in the state of New Jersey, and their energy and enthusiasm for learning is what drives our school to success.

Drawing from the city of Camden and its surrounding boroughs, LEAP Academy students represent a range of family and cultural backgrounds.  That diversity is embraced within our curriculum, as multicultural and multilingual education is part of every classroom. 

The majority of our students arrive in kindergarten and stay with LEAP through high school.  In that time, many come to think of their classmates as family, teachers as parents, and the school as home. 

In the heart of a city that sees 40% of its students drop out of school, LEAP students face distinct social barriers to their academic success.  But these facts have not stopped our students from meeting these challenges with resilience and courage, as all four graduating senior classes of LEAP Academy have achieved 100% college acceptance and are leading a path for all to follow.
