02.05.10 | Rutgers CSUCL and LEAP Academy Go Red for Women As part of the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day on February 5th, students, parents, and staff at the Rutgers CSUCL and LEAP Academy joined the effort against women’s heart disease by wearing red and holding several heart-healthy activities 01.04.10 | Afterschool Program turns LEAP into a Winter Wonderland The 21st Century Community Learning Center and LEAP Parents Council hosted their annual “Winter Wonderland” festival at LEAP on Friday, December 18th. Over 150 parents and family members attended the festival to watch their students perform music and dance routines that were learned through the afterschool program.
12.07.09 | 10th Annual Alfredo Santiago Scholarship Fundraising Gala
The CSUCL’s annual Rutgers/LEAP Gala, held at the Adventure Aquarium, raised $105,000 for the Alfredo Santiago Endowed Scholarship Fund, which benefits LEAP graduates attending Rutgers.
