PNC Bank Donates School Supplies to ELRASeptember 14, 2017
On Tuesday, September 14, 2017, PNC Bank generously donated 15 crates of school supplies, ranging from crayons, colored paper, glue sticks, puppet making materials, coloring books, and so much more. PNC collected and obtained the supplies through its network of employees, as part of its Grow Up Great program. The program has developed more than $121 million in grants to help young children prepare for school by focusing on readiness in vocabulary development, math, science, financial education and the arts. Through these grants to nonprofit organizations, the program has impacted approximately 3 million children throughout 19 states and the District of Columbia.
PNC employees have volunteered more than 650,000 hours and donated more than 933,000 classroom items to help make our vision a reality which the Early Learning Research Academy (ELRA) rejoined this year!! Thank you to PNC for making our early learning program thrive for children and families in Camden!
