COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) Resources

In response to the COVID-19 cases in the United States, the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools has created a Box folder that is public: https://publiccharters.app.box.com/folder/105253914187

These folders include:

  1. General planning resources:
    1. Document with websites listed that would be good to track
    2. Document with websites where you can access pandemic planning resources.
  2. Posters in multiple languages about the virus, symptoms, and how to prevent the spread as well as other guidance from the CDC (for schoolsemployerschildren, and home).
  3. Resources such as parent letters and notifications being made by schools and state associations
  4. Resources for Talking with Kids about COVID-19We continue to recommend monitoring of the CDC for guidance and instructions at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html (you can sign up for their emails on that page as well). The U.S. Department of Education will feature guidance at https://www.ed.gov/coronavirus and they have the Readiness and Emergency Readiness for Schools Center (REMS) https://rems.ed.gov/Resources_Hazards_Threats_Biological_Hazards.aspx that also provides guidance for these kinds of situations.None of the guidance by any of these organizations will replace decisions being made at the local level with your city or county office of public health.
