Federal Reserve officials tour LEAP Academy

On May 17, 2019, Federal Reserve Board of Governors Vice Chair Richard Clarida visited LEAP Academy University School as part of his FedListens tour of Camden.  After visiting Holtec International in the morning, Vice Chair Clarida, accompanied by Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia President Patrick Harker and LEAP Academy Board Chairperson Dr. Gloria Bonilla-Santiago, visited the LEAP Fabrication Lab and Center for College Access, before joining other business, community stakeholders and LEAP students and parents for a lunch discussion.  The LEAP community shared their insights and successes on how Camden can grow and remain inclusive economically, focusing on education and workforce development.
