Planting the seed for a beautiful city

The students at Lower LEAP and the students of Rutgers University under the direction of Professor Elizabeth Demaray, where making seed balls just in time for spring planting. Sixty five students with perfect and good attendance participated in the project. The seed balls will be color coordinated to represent the different neighborhoods around the city. Students later will plant the seed balls in the school garden boxes outside of Lower LEAP and take a few home to plant in their in their homes . The goal is to have the indigenous plants of different colors blooming around the city.
